Maria was raised in Dubuque, IA and graduated from Wahlert Catholic High School in 2019. She went on to attend the College of Saint and Saint John’s University, where she earned her undergraduate degree in Exercise and Health Science while also competing as a member of the basketball and lacrosse team. Upon graduating, Maria moved back to Dubuque where she enrolled at Loras College and obtained a master’s degree in athletic training.
During her time at Loras, Maria got to work with several different teams as well as preceptors. Working with local high schools Western Dubuque and Wahlert Catholic. Along with collegiate athletes at Loras College, Platteville University, and the University of Saint Thomas. Fall of 2024 during her 8-week clinical immersive at the University of Saint Thomas she worked with division 1 men’s soccer and women’s softball.
Maria is passionate about sports and finds joy in coaching and training athletes. Primarily working with softball and basketball athletes. When she’s not working or coaching, you can find her on the golf course with her mom when it’s nice outside.
