Ben was born and raised in Dubuque and graduated from the University of Iowa in 2001
with a B.S. in Exercise Science and earned his Masters of Physical Therapy from the
University of Iowa in 2003.

He practiced in the Cedar Rapids and Iowa City area for 7 years before joining the team
at Dubuque Physical Therapy in 2011. Ben has a wide variety of experience including
home health, long-term care, general orthopedics, sports rehab, dry needling, blood
flow restriction training, and vestibular rehab. Ben has also served as a guest lecturer at
Clarke University.

Ben and his wife have four children and he enjoys spending time with family, hiking,
watching Iowa Hawkeye athletics, reading, gardening, beekeeping, and wood-fired oven
cooking.
