Mindy was born and raised in the Midwest, spending much of her childhood across the river in Platteville, WI. She received her undergraduate degree from the University of Notre Dame in 1998, her Doctor of Physical Therapy Degree from Creighton University in 2001, and recently completed her PhD in Health Education from William Carey University in August 2025.
Mindy has worked in multiple states and almost every setting in physical therapy over the course of her career, including working as a travel therapist for several years. She has completed advanced training in occupational health/industrial medicine, instrument-assisted soft tissue mobilization (IASTM), orthotics, balance training, and vestibular rehabilitation. Mindy has a special interest in occupational medicine as well as working with geriatric patients and patients with chronic pain. Mindy is able to complete therapy sessions in both Spanish and English.
Mindy moved to the Dubuque area in 2021 to be closer to family. She joined Dubuque PT at the end of 2023 and also teaches in the Clarke University Physical Therapy Program. Her hobbies include traveling, puzzles, playing cards, and spending time with her family and fur babies.
