Ashley graduated from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill in 1996 with a BA in Biology and received her Masters of Physical Therapy from East Carolina University in 1998.

She practiced in Winston-Salem, North Carolina before deciding to take time away from the profession to raise her children.

She has experience in home health and long term care, but the majority of her experience is in outpatient orthopedics. She has lived in Dubuque with her husband and two children since 2007 and has been working at Dubuque Physical Therapy since 2017.

She enjoys being outside, reading, traveling, and watching her children participate in their activities.
